In August of 2007, JRL Ventures made a substantial investment in its 
reverse engineering capabilities with the purchase of a Faro laser tracker.  
The portable 3-D measuring system allows extremely accurate 3-D measurement  
of almost any pattern or shape from a glove box lid to a complicated superstructure. 
The sophisticated equipment is accurate to within one thousandth of an inch  
at 30 feet and has a range of 115 feet radially from the tracker center.  The CMM (computer measuring machine) is also capable of performing part, equipment, or fixtures verification. The combination of this precise data and JRL Ventures' experienced architects, designers, and engineers, ensures a true (real world) 3-D representation of the customers' pattern.
